Broke 200

This week our total points was 202! Those 8 point days really make a difference. Mark and Mary scored 43, Shannon 38, Ravi, Priya and Christine 26 points.
Let's go for those 8 point days! Christine will be out 3 days this week:(

We met our goal!

235 points this week. Mark is in the lead at 216, then me @ 213, Shannon @208, Christine @ 206, Ravi @ 146, Priya @ 144, and Cori @ 127. We did great!
Cori will be out 3 days this week.
We have a definate date for our get-together. November 2 @ 2pm.

Going into week 5

Okay I have the stats for week 4. Our total points are 911. (that's 210 -20) Mark and Christine are tied at 168 points, Shannon has 167, I have 165, Ravi has 118, Priya 116, and Cori 95. I haven't seen the other teams stats yet. We missed our goal for the week by 15 points, which is pretty good considering Christine and Shannon were out for 3 days. Let's work together to make our goal this week! If you could let the team know when you are planning to work out, via e-mail, it would help the people coming in alone to get their bonus points.

227 points in the lead!!!

Our total points are 721. The closest teams is 494, 481, and 397.
Shannon is high this week at 50 points! Christine comes in at 48, mary 45, Cori 40, Priya and Ravi at 30, and Mark at 26. Wow! (Even with Mark away in Washington D.C.)
Christine leads our team with 138 points, Shannon is right behind at 137, I am at 128, Mark is 121, Ravi at 98, Priya at 96, and Cori at 69.
We are the bomb!

Sunday workout


We added 20 points on Saturday. What if we shot for another 4 points each on Sunday? That would build on our lead. Call me and let me know when you will be there so I can get my double points.

Progress for week #3

hi everybody,
As of Friday night we have 205 points. Which means we need 20 points, collectively, to reach our goal of 225. We are doing so well. If everybody does 4 points over the weekend we will have met our goal. In thinking about our pot luck event, healthy food at my house, how would Sat. Nov.1 or Sun. Nov. 9 be? afternoon or evening? Let me know.

1st place again!!

Yes, points are cumulative. We are at 489 points, 150 points ahead of the other teams. Good work! This week Mark will be out of town Friday and Saturday. I will keep you posted where we are at. Our goal is 225 points per week.

this week's stats

Fantastic week! We really finished strong with 56 points on Sunday! As it stands we have 242 points for the week. Mark is high at 47. Christine came in at 43. I have 42 points. Shanon has 40. Ravi has 28, Priya 26, and Cori at 16.
Totals for the two weeks: Mark-95, Christine-90, Shannon-87, Mary-83, Ravi-68, Priya-66, and Cori-40. Anyone can take the lead.
I want to mention that both Shannon and Cori has physical set-backs this week and still came through for the team!

WE ARE #1 !!!!!!!!

We are in first place. Wow! We have a great start! 263 points for our first week. The next highest team scored 145. Mark was our high team member with 48 points! Christine and Shannon were on his tail at 47 points each. I was next at 41 and Ravi and Priya came in at40 points each. That leaves Cori with 24 points. I think we all met our personal goals!
Let's keep it going. I think our high scores will inspire some of the other teams to pick-up their pace.

We are off to a strong start

Everyone is very active on our team! Mark, Cori, and I did water exercise this morning:) It was really fun! Mark is almost always available any night from about 7:30 -9:45 pm, on the north side of the fitness center if you want to squeeze in a few extra points and work toward your goals. Ravi, Priya, Christine, and Shannon all scored 8 points each on Mon. and Tues.! Anyone working out early afternoon tomorrow?

What a team!

Introducing . . .





Christine and Shannon (mother and daughter) are regulars at our Y. They work out on the cardio machines most evenings during the week. Although they have busy schedules, they make exercise a priority and use their advantage of automatic double points for working out together.



Cori is happy to run, bike and swim most evenings; she would love to take advantage of the outdoor track as long as the weather cooperates. She also enjoys free weights and strength machines as energy boosters.



Mary, our fearless leader, teaches a great water class in the small pool on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 9 a.m. Join her for those extra points if you can. Mary also enjoys strength training on a regular basis.





Ravi and Priya (husband and wife) brave the early mornings to workout on the strength machines and raise their heart rates on the treadmill.



You will find Mark at the Y most evenings, either biking or working out on the strength machines. He considers the Y his second home, so if you need a partner, you can count on Mark to keep you company!

Organized and Ready to Move!



















We met on Sunday at the Y to discuss our schedules and get the rules straight. Our goal is to workout together as much as possible; this way, we'll earn the most points in the least amount of time.
We also set personal goals for fitness and weight. And took pictures of our group to capture each of us at the beginning of our 10-week journey. Check out Mary's Marvels below!
